Soft spot for the Homeless! Small Act of Kindness! Great Story!

I saw this and I could not stop myself from posting this here! I've asked myself why do I have such a soft spot for the homeless, especially for the teen homeless?  The thought of my dad being an orphan on the streets of Mexico at the age of three years old and having to find shelter for him and his little sister came to mind! And the tears started rolling down uncontrollably!! I never thought about my reason for wanting to help the TEEN homeless before, until I saw this video.  Sometimes we don't know what motivates us, what drives us!  But when you do, it can FUEL our life with the drive to make an impact on people's lives!  Today I understand "my" why much more than ever! And I feel energized to continue my quest to do as these men did for "Mimi." My goal is to raise enough money from my businesses this year to pay to build a tiny home for a teen homeless in Davis County (~$5K)! Wish me luck!

Helping Parents by Reading Books to Children on Youtube!!

WHAT A GREAT WAY to pass KINDNESS!
This great lady Susan Escalante is passing kindness around to mothers who she sees struggling as she goes about her day.  She told me of a child who was struggling and throwing a tantrum.  She asked the child's mom if she would be okay with him watching a youtube video of her telling a story.  Mom agreed and the child was able to cooperate with mom as he listened to story time.  I for one think this is better than just letting the children just play games on the phone or tech devices! WOW!

I decided to go Solar today!  The gentlemen part owner who set me up with solar panels likes to give discounts to single parents and widows!  What a Kind Deed! He is spreading kindness all along the way!

I came across this short video on focusing on the good to fight off the bad.  I agree with this 100%.  This is why I started my blog.  To give people a place to see the good about life!  Because focusing on the GOOD brings out more GOOD in people!

DO KIND DEEDS-first public DEED

Over the weekend I bruised a rib moving a cabinet.  I've been slow moving since.  And I woke up to having to shovel snow to get out of my drive way.  My little car will not make it through this well.  So I started the chore with pain. (No, my teens were not around to do it!) I figured I'll just do what's necessary to get out.  And then I hear a snow blower get closer and closer.

It's my neighbor who ever since I moved here has lived the Mantra of DO KIND DEEDS.  He leaves me fruit or vegetables from his garden over the summer and does this in the winter when he sees me out shoveling.  And as you can see, he goes the extra mile and does my side walk too. What a KIND soul.  He is a man of few words!  He does not care if I say thank you, if I noticed what he did or not.  He just does it with no reward whatsoever.  These are those people who truly earn Heaven in my opinion.

I have put together a neighborhood picnic over the summer to thank all my neighbors for what they do for me.  I was hoping to see this neighbor and get to say thank you for his countless acts of kindness towards me.  But of course he was not around for that!

I just want to publicly THANK him for coming to my rescue this morning when I needed it!  He didn't know my true need but GOD did and sent him!  GOD does his work through people!

I want to post people who DO KIND DEEDS in their communities!  

DO KIND DEEDS!

DO KIND DEEDS blog is meant to Inspire people in their communities and around the world to do the SAME and Pass it on to others!  I want this to be a place where people can go to hear GOOD things happening in the World!  I especially want them to lead their children and teens here.  So that they can feel the Awesomeness of the stories and in turn want to DO KIND DEEDS.
