Soft spot for the Homeless! Small Act of Kindness! Great Story!
I saw this and I could not stop myself from posting this here! I've asked myself why do I have such a soft spot for the homeless, especially for the teen homeless? The thought of my dad being an orphan on the streets of Mexico at the age of three years old and having to find shelter for him and his little sister came to mind! And the tears started rolling down uncontrollably!! I never thought about my reason for wanting to help the TEEN homeless before, until I saw this video. Sometimes we don't know what motivates us, what drives us! But when you do, it can FUEL our life with the drive to make an impact on people's lives! Today I understand "my" why much more than ever! And I feel energized to continue my quest to do as these men did for "Mimi." My goal is to raise enough money from my businesses this year to pay to build a tiny home for a teen homeless in Davis County (~$5K)! Wish me luck!

Helping Parents by Reading Books to Children on Youtube!!
WHAT A GREAT WAY to pass KINDNESS!
This great lady Susan Escalante is passing kindness around to mothers who she sees struggling as she goes about her day. She told me of a child who was struggling and throwing a tantrum. She asked the child's mom if she would be okay with him watching a youtube video of her telling a story. Mom agreed and the child was able to cooperate with mom as he listened to story time. I for one think this is better than just letting the children just play games on the phone or tech devices! WOW!
